COVID-19

We are taking precautions for your safety

Our goal is to maintain the highest level of safety for both students and instructors, therefore:

  • All students and instructors are required to wear a face mask. Instructors will sanitize high-touch surfaces between students.
  • Disposable gloves are available.
  • Only one student will be permitted in the vehicle at a time (exceptions can be made for sibling and other special circumstances)
  • Students will have their temperature taken with a touchless thermometer.  A student with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be allowed to drive.

Is it OK to drive with an instructor?

Below is a very detailed chart to help you determine if you should be in isolation or quarantine due to COVID-19 and if you are able to driver with an instructor.  These guidelines are provided by the Indiana Department of Health guidance for schools and were last updated on 12-4-2020.  The guidelines are subject to change at any time, so please consult the IDH website for further information and current guidelines.

The summary:

  • If you are able attend school, then you are able to drive with an instructor.
  • If you are not able to attend school, then you should not be driving with an instructor.
